How to fix ReachUC Firewall permissions problem
This is really important:
1- Uninstall Reach UC.
To reinstall the app you must first uninstall ReachUC.
- Open the Windows menu
- Type the word "Control"
- Click on "Control Panel"
In the Control Panel, look for the "Programs" submenu and click on "Uninstall Program"
In the list of installed programs, find ReachUC and double click or right click -> Uninstall to start uninstalling it
When the uninstall window comes out click "Uninstall" and then "Next" until you get the window showing that the uninstall is complete and click Finish.
After Uninstall ReachUC we proceed to Install it again, for this we must execute the installer. If we do not have it available we can download it in the next link (

When opening the Installation window we must click on "Install" and "Next" until the window "Completing ReachUC Setup" appears where we will select "Run ReachUC" and "Create desktop shortcut" and click on "Finish"
After installing the application you must log in and when the "Terms and Conditions" window appears and click on "Agree"
In the "Welcome Wizard" window, click "Next" and "Finish"
When ReachUC is opened, the first call must be made so that the Windows firewall requests the necessary permissions for the application to work correctly.
In the "Windows Security Alert" we must select the 3 options that appear and click "Allow Access", at that moment a credentials window will appear where an administrator has to enter his username and password.
If all the steps described above are followed, you will not have any problem using the ReachUC Application.
